ABOUT

The NYU Entrepreneurs Network is hosting its first annual student hackathon Nov 2013 in the heart of New York City. NYUHACKS is open to all undergraduate and graduate students from around the world. Registration is now open!

SILICON ALLEY

Come hack in one of the biggest entrepreneurship hubs in the world: New York City. Some of the biggest and baddest startups are here. NYUHacks wants to bring the best thinkers, hackers, and designers together for one weekend to build really cool stuff.

SHOWCASE

Instead of everyone doing pitches, we'll be doing a science-fair style showcase for teams to demo their hacks to the public. Participants will get to vote on their favorite hacks, and the top teams become finalists who pitch in front of our panel. Tickets sold soon.

COME ONE, COME ALL

This hackathon is about celebrating creativity and entrepreneurship across the board. That means that even if you don't know how to code, that doesn't mean you can't participate. Designers, hardware hackers, changemakers - we want everyone that can make something to join.

THIS YEAR'S THEME

CROWD KNOWLEDGE

We want to harness the knowledge of the crowd from all walks of life to make stuff. We’ll have mentors from some of the coolest startups and organizations around New York to give you hands-on help with data, hardware, and ideation. We're even bringing organizations from within the NYU ecosystem to come together to pull of this event. Whether they involve healthcare, social networking, or hardware hacking - we want to see your ideas come to life.
